Honolulu, HI – November 12, 2025 – ASOBISYSTEM and JTB Hawaii Travel are excited to announce that the globally acclaimed performance group ATARASHII GAKKO! will join the artist lineup for ASOBIEXPO HAWAII 2026, taking place Monday, March 16, 2026, at the Tom Moffatt Waikiki Shell in Honolulu, Hawaii.
ASOBIEXPO is a music and culture event produced by ASOBISYSTEM, known for bringing Japanese pop culture to audiences around the world. Following its success in Japan, ASOBIEXPO HAWAII 2026 marks the event’s first international edition. Previously announced performers include Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and FRUITS ZIPPER.
Adding to the star-studded lineup, ATARASHII GAKKO!, self-proclaimed “representatives of Japanese youth”, are known for their powerful performances and dynamic choreography, created entirely by the members themselves. The group drew global attention with their solo performance on the GOBI Stage at Coachella 2024 and went on to complete a world tour across 26 cities in Europe, Asia, and North America, as well as seven cities in Japan, attracting a total audience of over 110,000 fans worldwide.
With three leading acts representing the forefront of Japan’s pop culture, ASOBIEXPO HAWAII 2026 promises to be a one-night-only celebration under the stars of Waikiki.
