    Deal with future bookings from all channels including fax, phone, and online from travel agencies and FIT customers. Make adjustments due to changes in transportation order trip sheets, new requests or cancellations. Input and update all changes in the computer system, and finalize all arrangements made one day prior for special tour arrivals. Finalize reservations and booking information and communicate with the team, vendors, and any other stakeholders as necessary. Assign vehicles and jobs to drivers and ensure that all movements run smoothly. Receive telephone or radio reports of accidents, delays, and any other incidents that may affect the operation, and report difficulties and dispatch orders to other divisions/departments to maintain or restore service and schedules. Morning shifts are also required to provide customer service to golf/tour customers upon their arrival in the Tachibana Headquarter office.

BILINGUAL DRIVER (JAPANESE/ENGLISH)

  • Description

    Provide transportation for shuttle transfers and charter excursions such as golf tours and optional tours for customers. Perform scheduled transfers, arrivals, and departures at designated pickup locations including hotels and tour related properties. Adhere to Hawaii traffic regulations including traffic lights and signs and comply with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Ensure the safety of the passengers and pedestrians to minimize the risk of traffic accidents. Conduct vehicle inspections and make operational checks before/after the trip. RESERVATIONIST

CSR&Field Dispatch Supervisor (Japanese/English)

  • Description

    Primarily responsible for making decisions for the department in the field to ensure safe and efficient operations of company vehicles. In the absence of the Dispatch Manager, primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Customer Service Department.  This includes, but is not limited to, department scheduling, resolving customer complaints, and giving training and guidance to Customer Service Field Dispatchers and Representatives. Must be able to understand Walker routes and timing, and must readjust the Walkers when needed to ensure smooth and efficient operations.Communicate with Travel Plaza Transportation (TPT Central Dispatch) to report changes and adjustments to the Walker routes and schedule. Provide excellent customer service and a stress free experience for all valued customers, and follow company guidelines with regards to passenger safety. Assist customers using the Walker at Oli Oli Station by answering schedule related questions and other general customer service questions (i.e. giving directions to various landmarks/properties in and around the Walker routes.) Assist in the loading and unloading of passengers at the Oli Oli station, including customers requiring ADA assistance. Remind passengers of the safety and operational rules of riding the Walker as needed. Prepare and disseminate traffic notifications (reroutes due to parades etc.) Perform other duties as required.    

    Requirements

    1. Expert knowledge of various Walker routes and timing.
    2. Must have knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
    3. Perform DOT Safety practices and procedures.

FLEET MAINTENANCE MANAGER

  • Description

    Under general supervision of the Travel Plaza Director of Operations, manages the maintenance operations and general conditions of the mechanical and body and fender repair of all types of gasoline and diesel driven automotive equipment. Ensures the effective and efficient quality of maintenance operations.

    Requirements

    Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
    1. Completion of a recognized apprenticeship in automotive/equipment mechanic trade or;
    2. Two years experience as a lead automotive technician first class mechanic; or
    3. Have four years in lower classification or equivalent experience; and
    4. Have previous management experience.
    5. ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) training and certification required.

    Licenses:
    1. Possession of a valid Hawaii State Drivers License with clean drivers abstract. Must be able to pass State of Hawaii D.O.T. driving requirements for a class B, passenger endorsement, commercial driver’s license.

HR/PAYROLL ASSISTANT

  • Description

    Assist in all aspects of payroll, including auditing time & attendance hours work, paid & non-paid leaves & calculation of special pay. Conduct Time & Attendance Software Training & answer any inquiries regarding the program. Ensure the hours are paid timely and accurate in accordance with payroll rules & procedures.

    Requirements

    Organized, detailed professional with minimum 3-4 years of payroll or payroll related experience and/or training. Working knowledge of excel, as well as other basic software. Knowledge of principles and practices of wage and hour regulations, payroll regulatory requirements, federal and state tax and other regulations pertinent to payroll. Working knowledge and skills with computerized systems and software, including human resources management system, payroll system, time clock system, word processing and spreadsheets. Cerdian TimePro and/or HPW system preferred.
