Property Manager

  • Description

    Under general direction of the Corporate Director of Human Resources and Operations, analyzes property and facility needs; manages leases/purchases of company properties. Coordinates set-up or repairs and remodeling of tour lounges/desks, other facilities and company-owned condominiums. Responsible for the inventory and assignment of company cars, telephones, personal electronic devices, etc. Works with departments such as MIS and the users to ensure physical assets are well maintained and accounted for. Negotiates and administers leases/purchases and repairs of all company property. Coordinates the security company and alarm system activities with outside vendors. Performs similar and related duties as required.

    Requirements

    1. College degree or commensurate experience.
    2. One to two years experience or training in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred.
    3. Five years working knowledge in property management, including ability to read blueprints
    4. Ability to professionally and effectively communicate and negotiate with employees, business partners, and clients in English via written and verbal communication methods.
    5. Supervisory skills, including but limited to, effectively and constructively resolving conflict.
    6. Working knowledge of basic computer systems, application programs, e-mail and standard office equipment.
    7. Problem-solving and organizational skills
    8. Ability to work independently and work cooperatively with others; ability to work with employees, business partners, and customers in a friendly and positive manner.

SALES ASSOCIATE (JAPANESE/ENGLISH)

  • Description

    Provide customer service by answering general inquiries including omiyage products and local information. Interact with customers and promote the omiyage products. Participate in tour briefings to conduct promotional briefings of our products. Receive orders correctly and complete order forms accurately, and handle sales transactions which may include operating cash registers and credit card transactions. Track sales volume and item counts in a spreadsheet and maintain the stock balance at the counter.

FLEET MAINTENANCE MANAGER

  • Description

    Under general supervision of the Travel Plaza Director of Operations, manages the maintenance operations and general conditions of the mechanical and body and fender repair of all types of gasoline and diesel driven automotive equipment. Ensures the effective and efficient quality of maintenance operations.

    Requirements

    Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
    1. Completion of a recognized apprenticeship in automotive/equipment mechanic trade or;
    2. Two years experience as a lead automotive technician first class mechanic; or
    3. Have four years in lower classification or equivalent experience; and
    4. Have previous management experience.
    5. ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) training and certification required.

    Licenses:
    1. Possession of a valid Hawaii State Drivers License with clean drivers abstract. Must be able to pass State of Hawaii D.O.T. driving requirements for a class B, passenger endorsement, commercial driver’s license.

ACCOUNTANT

  • Description

    Essential Functions * Performs general ledger accounting function in accordance with established accounting systems to meet company and regulatory requirements. * Processes business costs and expenses by verifying proper authorization and supporting documents, and assigning accounts. Prepares journal entries and input in system. * Issues check; obtains signature from authorized personnel and distributes checks. * Prepares and records general journal vouchers for accruals, prepaid expenses, and other journal entries. * Processes revenues by verifying proper authorization and supporting documents and assigning accounts. Prepare invoices and journal entries and input in system. * Reconciles general ledger balances and prepares schedule of accounts at monthly closing. Identifies and corrects any accounting errors. * Prepares daily cash deposits and performs monthly bank reconciliations. * Prepares and processes tax filings including general excise tax, property tax, PSC, PUC, and corporate tax payments. * Prepares credit references for vendors and/or new suppliers. * Maintains accounting records. * Maintains inventory of forms and supplies. * Assists other departments or sections during peak periods as required. * Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    * Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration with an accounting or finance concentration from an accredited college or university.
    * Experience in public accounting desirable.
    * 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting.
    * Self starter and quick learner.
    * Knowledge of MS office programs and general office applications. High proficiency in MS excel.
    * Excellent verbal and communication skills.
    * Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and handle high volume.
    * Ability to work with concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail.
