    Deal with future bookings from all channels including fax, phone, and online from travel agencies and FIT customers. Make adjustments due to changes in transportation order trip sheets, new requests or cancellations. Input and update all changes in the computer system, and finalize all arrangements made one day prior for special tour arrivals. Finalize reservations and booking information and communicate with the team, vendors, and any other stakeholders as necessary. Assign vehicles and jobs to drivers and ensure that all movements run smoothly. Receive telephone or radio reports of accidents, delays, and any other incidents that may affect the operation, and report difficulties and dispatch orders to other divisions/departments to maintain or restore service and schedules. Morning shifts are also required to provide customer service to golf/tour customers upon their arrival in the Tachibana Headquarter office.

CDL B DRIVER- Honolulu

    Primary Responsibilities: Drives vehicles to transport passengers over specified routes according to time schedule. Essential Functions: 1. Provides transportation for charter excursions and tours for JTB customers and other groups. Performs scheduled transfers, arrivals and departures at the airport, at designated briefing sites, and at hotel and tour related properties. 2. Drives vehicle in accordance with traffic regulations and observes traffic lights, other vehicles and pedestrians on the street to avoid accidents. Must comply with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. 3. Routinely interacts with customers and tour conductors, coordinators, or guides to make the trip as comfortable and informative as possible. 4. Directly responsible for keeping to strict schedules, adhering to the guidelines of the tour itinerary, and the overall success of the trip. 5. Opens and closes doors and starts and stops vehicle to allow passengers to enter or leave vehicle. Assists passengers to enter and leave vehicle. Loads and unloads baggage and luggage, which may include golf equipment, water sports equipment and other items 6. Regulates air conditioning, lighting and ventilating systems for passenger comfort. 7. Reports delays, accidents or incidents by radio or cellular phone to the dispatch department, using standard radio codes and procedures. 8. Inspects vehicle and makes operational checks pre-trip and post-trip. Checks on vehicle brakes, tires, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, and water supply. Keeps vehicle exterior and interior clean. Fuels vehicles as needed. Keeps the technicians informed of mechanical problems in writing on the Driver’s Inspection Report for proper vehicle maintenance. 9. Must have knowledge of all tours so that proper narration is done. 10. Records readings and information as required by procedures. Must be able to fill out accident reports when necessary. 11. Practices and promotes good customer relations, using professional conduct.

    Requirements

    High school or trade school degree or general education degree (GED).
    Possess a current drivers license; qualify and maintain CDL B with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements. Pass a company medical facility CDL physical examination and produce a clean drug screen and possess a DOT Physical Medical Certificate of Physical Qualification. Provide a clean driving history.
    Reads, writes and speaks clearly in English or Japanese. Have the ability to read, analyze and interpret dispatch documents, safety procedures, or governmental regulations. DIESEL MECHANIC 2nd Class

    Primary Responsibilities: Under general supervision independently performs gasoline and/or diesel engine overhaul, repair, and servicing of vehicles and equipment in a diversified fleet.
