My day starts before most people wake up. I’m out early in the morning, picking up guests from hotels across Honolulu and taking them to some of the most beautiful golf courses in Hawaii. It sounds simple, but there’s a lot of heart that goes into it. Every ride is a chance to set the tone for someone’s day. What I enjoy most is the conversation, By the time we arrive at the course, my guests aren’t strangers anymore. We’ve laughed, talked about their trip, and shared stories.

Being fluent in Japanese allows me to communicate naturally with our guests- not just in words, but in a way that makes them feel truly at home from the moment they arrive. I’m proud to be a part of that. When a guest arrives from Japan and leaves Hawaii with big smile and a fond memory of their experience – that’s Tachibana’s mission coming to life, and I get to be a small part of it every day.

One of the things I appreciate most about this job is the relationships – not just with guests, but with the teams at the golf courses we visit regularly. Over time, you build a real sense of community. People know you, they trust you, and that familiarity makes the culture even more rewarding. There’s a culture of support here that keeps you motivated.

Tachibana Enterprises offers so many ways to contribute, whether it’s through tours, events, transportation, or guest experiences. Whatever your role, the heart of it is the same: making someone’s time in Hawaii truly unforgettable.
